Born in Chicago and raised in Atlanta, Nyemade (Nye) Henry has a passion for meeting new people and experiencing different cultures, a love that she nurtures in her everyday life and satisfies with the focus she brings to each client’s needs.
Seeking the best way to help
After earning her Bachelor in Business Administration in Marketing from Mercer University, Nye discovered her true career path at Cigna Healthcare. “It was in that job that I found out there were other parts of insurance I wanted to be able to help my clients with. I wanted to be a resource for my customers and become their one-stop shop, and I couldn’t wait to get out and learn more.”
The power of an independent agency
Nye found the ideal venue from which to help others at Nationwide, where she served as an agent for 18 years. Now as an independent agent, she is able to partner with multiple insurance companies to offer clients the best pricing and coverage. “As an independent agent, I can truly be a consultant to my customers, offering them fully customized insurance to protect their most valuable assets.”
Committed to health and financial well-being
In her personal time, Nye serves with a variety of groups that also offer help to others. As an active member of the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Nye served as Chair of the Physical & Mental Health Committee, initiating programs such as prostate and breast cancer screenings for the underserved and uninsured in her community. She is also a facilitator for the DFree program, a financial freedom course to teach people about insurance and personal finances and provide them with tools to reduce their personal debt.
A resource for security and prosperity
Having added a Masters in Healthcare Policy & Administration from Mercer University, Nye is also member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia (IIAG) and the National African American Insurance Association. For both her community and her clients, she strives to be a resource to help improve security and prosperity:

Meet Diann
Diann Jackson
Insurance Agent
Born in Atlanta, Diann has been a member of the The Henry Agency Inc. since 2014.
Graduating with a BA in Business Administration and Education from Morris Brown, Diann spent the early part of her career in accounting and finance, beginning with the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta. She later relocated to Dallas,Texas, to join Ernst & Young, where she worked in administration.
After several years, Diann was able to return to Atlanta, where she continued to work for Ernst & Young. She later joined KPMG LLC in 1999 as Associate Director, managing teams in 15 Southeast locations and implementing national operating procedures while building relationships with area management teams, internal clients and international teams.
As an Associate Agent, Diann enjoys working with Nyemade Henry and helping customers understand the complexity of insurance, making sure their coverage is complete. She conducts policy reviews to obtain the best possible rates, working with new and renewing clients, and processes payments.
In her personal time, she likes spending time with family, reading, cooking and catching the latest streaming series.
